Educational AI Lab: Practical AI Workshops for Educators

Join the Educational AI Lab — a new ConnectED workshop series designed to help educators create learning materials, assess student work and develop digital teaching resources using AI.Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming higher education, offering new opportunities to create learning materials, improve assessment, and support students throughout the learning process. To help university teachers navigate this evolving landscape, the ConnectED Network is launching the Educational AI Lab - a practical workshop series dedicated to the effective and responsible use of AI in teaching and learning.
Led by Vitalii Svatko, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the National Transport University and expert in educational technologies, the workshops combine hands-on demonstrations with practical exercises, allowing participants to work directly with modern AI tools and explore their application in everyday teaching practice.
The series is designed for academic staff interested in integrating AI into course design, assessment, educational content creation, and digital learning environments.
Who should participate?
The workshop series is intended for university lecturers, researchers and academic staff who would like to integrate AI into their teaching practice. Participants will gain practical experience with contemporary AI tools and explore effective approaches to creating educational content, assessing student work and designing digital learning resources.
About the Speaker
Vitalii Svatko, PhD is Head of the Software Development Department at Landgut Group, Associate Professor at the National Transport University, former mentor at SoftServe Academy (2021–2024), and an expert of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) for accreditation of higher education programmes.
Drawing on both academic and industry experience, he specialises in digital technologies, software development and the practical integration of AI into higher education.
